Laura JägerMember of the Board
During her Bachelor Degree of Tourism and Event Management as well as her Master Degree in Geography: Environment, Culture and Tourism, Laura gained practical experience in the field of tourism and international development cooperation, i.a. in Kenya, Greenland and Bulgaria.
After finishing her studies, she worked for the German Commission of UNESCO focussing on UNESCO Biosphere Reserves as modell regions for sustainable development. From 2016 to 2020 Laura worked in the Policy Department of Brot für die Welt [Bread for the World] at the special desk Tourism Watch. First as a project officer, later as head of Tourism Watch, she focussed her efforts towards a tourism that puts the rights and needs of the local people before profit.
Since March 2020 she is in charge of communications and events at Clean River Project - and environmental education programme.
Since 2020 she has been a member of the board of the Institute for Tourism and Development
